Ubisoft: Extreme Sports Game Steep Now Open For Beta

This proves that Ubisoft is having an amazing 2016. Ubisoft launched Far Cry Primal and The Division this Spring with tons of good reviews. The company is also set to release Just Dance 2017 and Watch Dogs 2 along with the extreme sports game.

While much of the aforementioned games were already introduced to players beforehand, Steep was a big surprise. Ubisoft did not even release a lot of information about the game. But seeing their treatment of their other games that became hits, it’s no question that a lot of players look forward to the new game.

According to the Ubisoft website, players can go to Ubisoft’s Steep page and sign up for the beta. They can even choose the phase of their choice. However, since the game will have an Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC release, legacy console owners cannot play the game. Hopeful players also need a Ubisoft Club account to complete their registration.

Ubisoft did not reveal just when the beta tests will take place, but predictions put this in October. Seeing that the game will have a December 2 release, October seems to be the safest date to put a beta to fix bugs and other issues before the launch.

Steep was indeed a big surprise for E3 this year. The game may even carve a new genre in sports gaming, given that this hasn’t been explored in other sports games before. The premise of the game seems to put players in extreme sports such as snowboarding, wingsuit flying, paragliding and snow skiing.

The game also seems to expand the boundaries of extreme sports games by allowing players to explore the area around them and go beyond “linear” areas. Of course, this is a welcome opportunity for players to try out the game’s potential.

However, Ubisoft is still infamous for game-breaking bugs and issues such as Assassin’s Creed Unity and Rainbow Six Siege. However, other Ubisoft games such as Ghost Recon Wildlands, For Honor, South Park: The Fractured But Whole will have a 2017 release.

Steep is a crucial year-ending launch.

Steep is an open-world extreme sports game set in a snowy, mountainous region. It offers a plethora of sports and extreme activities players can partake. This includes skiing, diving, parachuting and other extreme sports.

AMAZON ECHO

How much do you actually talk to your phone? If you’re like me, it’s probably almost never. The whole process is pretty painful: You hold down a button, speak carefully into the microphone, wait, and then either try again when it fails to understand you, or give up when it answers with an irrelevant quip. Voice assistants have been on our phones for years, but they haven’t really taken off. They’re unreliable, and often not that much quicker than typing. It’s a long way from the future that Star Trek promised us. Sorry Siri. But the Amazon Echo is different. A cylindrical speaker roughly the size of a wine bottle, it is not only the first gadget I have felt comfortable controlling with my voice, it is quite possibly the most promising new device since the iPhone. What is it? At its heart, the Echo is a wireless speaker. But while you can stream music, radio and so on to it, what really matters is the brain that runs it. Wake the Echo up, by saying “Alexa” (the name of Amazon’s vi...
